St. Nicholas Day Charity Help

In order to perform St. Nicolas charity help this year, we chose Yosypovychi preschool and orphanage “Vyshen’ka” (Lviv region). This school is created for orphans, children from low-income families and children who for some reason do not live with their parents. In total, there are 20 children aged 3 to 9 years old. This is the very age when children sincerely believe in the existence of the Miracles Creator Nicholas, his kindness and affection and their hearts are filled with hope and faith in the true Miracle.

When we came to orphanage we were kindly met by its head master, whose name is Nataliia Ivanivna. While kids were waking up in the afternoon, we spoke to the head about kids life in this school, about the reasons for their stay in it, learned about the emotional state of children. The kids are very good, tidy, cleanly dressed, but their eyes are sad, they all need parental attention and love. It’s not something new for the kids who live in orphanages and boarding schools.

However, while being with the children, we shared positive emotions, joy, sincere smile, warm arms and love with them. They gladly recited the poetry. Each baby got a personal present, namely a set of hats + scarves + gloves, as well as an album for drawing, pencils and paints and a sweet gift (candies and tangerines).The kids also got toys, puzzles and educational games. Such simple things could bring real astonishment, joy and good mood to the children. The personal hygiene products, household chemicals, stationery, electric teapot, weight and extender were handed over for everyday needs.

The headmaster thanked for visiting their orphanage and greeted the Orisil-Pharm management and all those people who helped to organize the celebration.
